Replacement Cartridges (set of 4) for Economy 4-Stage Water System (EW4)
This replacement filter set is suitable for the Economy 4-stage drinking water system (EW4). It contains three drop-in filters that produce high quality water as they remove a significant amount of dirt and contaminants and an in-line 0.02 micron ultrafiltration (UF) membrane.
Functionality of each filter:
- Filter 1 - 20 micron antibacterial pre-filter with NANOSILVER BACINIX technology: It removes contaminants larger than 20 microns such as rust, sand, sediment with 90% efficiency. The pre-filter made with nanosilver BACINIX ™ technology helps to kill bacteria and prevents the spread of mold. The blue color of the filter indicates that the filter has additional antibacterial protection.
- Filter 2 - Granular activated carbon filter with silver in combination with KDF: It removes some heavy metals, some bacteria, phenols, neutralizes residual chlorine, removes odors and disintegrants, making the finest possible purified water. The granulated activated carbon filter is much more efficient than other types of carbon filters due to its granular structure.
- Filter 3 - 5 micron antibacterial filter with NANOSILVER BACINIX technology: It removes contaminants larger than 5 microns with 90% efficiency. The filter is made with nanosilver BACINIX ™ technology that helps to kill bacteria and prevents the spread of mold. The blue color of the filter indicates that the filter has additional antibacterial protection.
- Filter 4 - 0.02 micron ultrafiltration (UF) membrane: The Economy UF membrane filters out small contaminants and its pore size is even suitable for removing some viruses and bacteria.

*Notice: The service life of the filters depend on the pressure, contamination and temperature of the water to be treated. It is also recommended to install a pressure regulator on the inlet of the system's water supply as the UF membrane systems must be secured from high pressures and rapid pressure changes caused by local water supply systems.
ATTENTION:
- A professional is recommended for the the safe installation of the replacement filters.
- Before the first use of the system and after cartridge replacement, perform system flushing process. Flush the system for several minutes before use.
- Use only microbiologically safe and adequately disinfected water.
- After completion of the above operations, filtered water can be consumed.

The production of the filters has been certified under the international standards ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015.The water systems have a Hungarian ÁNTSZ expert opinion and an OTH license. OTH license number: KEF-7265-2 / 2015.
